Korean Celebrity chef jong-won paik has launched his oddly noodle brand down under with the first paik’s noodle Australian outpost now open in Melbourne.
Paik’s noodle Melbourne features nine dishes that meet neatly in the middle between fermented Korean flavours and more traditional Chinese style stir fry.
We tried all the signature dishes in Paik’s Noodle Bar Melbourne :
- Sweet and sour pork
- Black bean sauce noodles
- Spicy seafood noodle soup
- Stir-fried spicy noodles
- Spicy fried chicken
The portions are huge and all dishes are affordable ranging from $13-$30
Definitely a must-visit restaurant in Melbourne. Orders are placed and paid via an App. When you visit the restaurant and look for cutlery, it is in a drawer under the table. Also, they provide you with pair of scissors to cut the noodles while eating as they are so thick and heavy, you will definitely need the pair of scissors.
All noodles are made in house from scratch and the flavours are quite flavoursome.
