Easy Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 62 g Butter Unsalted
  • 60 g Brown Sugar
  • 50 g White Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup Optional
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 Egg
  • 140 g All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 55 g Dark chocolate chips Chocolate chips or chopped
  • 55 g Milk Chocolate chips Chocolate chips or chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Table salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180C (Conventional)
  • In a stand mixer add butter to a mixing bowl and mix until soft and creamy
  • Add white sugar and brown sugar and mix until creamy
  • Add egg, vanilla, maple syrup and mix well until incorporated
  • Add the flour, baking soda, salt and fold until well incorporated
  • Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix well
  • Portion the mixer into equal balls and roll them using your palms
  • Place the rolled dough 2 cm apart on a lined baking tray
  • Bake the cookies in the oven for 10 mins ( depending on the oven, you might need to turn them half way through)
  • Once cooked take them out of the oven and place them on a tray or wire rack to cool down
