Halloween Cupcakes Melbourne

Spooky season, sorted. Our Halloween cakes and cupcakes are baked fresh to order in our Balaclava kitchen and decorated by hand, with pumpkins, ghosts, eyeballs and even a few witch shoes. Pick up in store or get them delivered across Melbourne.

Halloween cakes and cupcakes, handmade in Balaclava

Every Halloween treat we make is baked to order, not pulled from a freezer. We pipe the buttercream, place the pumpkins and ghosts by hand, and pack everything ourselves. That's why no two cupcakes look exactly the same, and why our customers keep coming back each year. Over 10,000 of them so far.

Whether you're planning a kids' party, a trick-or-treat night, a classroom celebration or morning tea at the office, there's a size and flavour to suit.

What's in our Halloween range

  1. Halloween Cake is a vintage-style heart cake in pink buttercream, with purple and orange piping, little pumpkins and white ghosts. It serves 10 and is the centrepiece for a party table.
  2. Halloween Mini Cake is a petite purple cake with orange scalloped piping and black bows. It serves 2 to 4, so it suits a cosy night in or a small gift.
  3. Halloween Cupcakes come in a box of six, with orange, purple and black swirls, pumpkins, eyeballs and witch shoes. Flavours are assorted vanilla and chocolate.
  4. Halloween Cupcakes Vegan and Eggless are a box of six chocolate cupcakes with pumpkins, ghosts and swirled buttercream.
  5. Halloween Cupcakes Gluten Free are a box of six gluten free chocolate cupcakes with the same spooky toppings.

Delivery and pick up for Halloween 2026

Halloween is on Saturday 31 October, and Sundays are delivery only, so we recommend ordering your cake for delivery on Friday 30 October. Our cakes stay fresh for three days, so there's no stress about ordering a bit early.

  • Order early. We recommend at least 2 to 3 days ahead, and earlier for cakes.
  • Free delivery across Melbourne on orders over $130, with an ETA text and live tracking on the day.
  • Pick up from 215 Carlisle St, Balaclava VIC 3183 (Monday to Friday 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm).

We deliver to Toorak, Brighton, St Kilda, South Yarra, Prahran, Richmond, Hawthorn, Caulfield, Glen Waverley, Point Cook, Cranbourne, Werribee, Tarneit, Clyde, the CBD and plenty of suburbs in between.

Vegan, eggless and gluten free Halloween treats

Nobody should be stuck watching everyone else eat cake. Our vegan and eggless cupcakes and our gluten free cupcakes are decorated exactly like the classic box, so they sit happily on the same table.

A quick note on allergies: our kitchen handles wheat, eggs, milk and other ingredients, so we can't guarantee any product is completely allergen free. If you're catering for coeliac disease or a severe allergy, please call us first so we can talk it through properly.

Halloween treats for parties, schools and workplaces

  • Kids' parties: pair the Halloween Cake with a few cupcake boxes so every child gets their own treat.
  • Offices and teams: a couple of boxes on Friday morning makes for an easy Halloween morning tea.
  • Schools and childcare: check your school's food rules before you order. Our kitchen isn't nut free, so it may not suit nut-free classrooms.
  • Gifts: a mini cake is a sweet surprise for a friend who lives for spooky season.

How far ahead should I order Halloween cakes in Melbourne?
As early as you can. We recommend at least 2 to 3 days before your event, but Halloween dates book out quickly, so it's best to order as soon as you know your plans. Last-minute orders are possible depending on what's free in our kitchen.

Do you deliver Halloween cakes and cupcakes across Melbourne?
Yes. We deliver across Melbourne and offer free delivery on orders over $130. On the day, you'll get an SMS with a three-hour delivery window and live tracking. Please make sure someone is home to receive your order.

Can I get vegan or gluten free Halloween cupcakes?
Yes. We have a Vegan and Eggless box and a Gluten Free box, both with six chocolate cupcakes. Vegan, eggless and gluten free options can also be selected for our cakes from the flavour dropdown at checkout.

Can I change the design of the Halloween cake?
Our online cakes are made as shown, with your choice of flavour and size. If you'd like a fully custom design, contact us for a custom order (a customisation fee applies).

How long do the cakes and cupcakes keep?
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within three days. Before serving, leave them out at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours so the cake is soft and the buttercream is at its best.

Is your kitchen nut free?
No. Our kitchen handles a wide range of ingredients, so we can't guarantee any product is free of allergens. Please contact us directly if you have a severe allergy.
