How do I make a purchase?

How do I know if my order is confirmed?
Online Orders will get an email notification, if you receive an invoice please make the 50% deposit to confirm the order
Can I change my delivery address after my order is placed?
Yes you can, You may need to call us and inform. Until we confrim from our side the change is not confirmed
Allergen
Although certain allergens are not present in food it may contain the the work space therefore I cannot guarantee allergen free food products. May contain Peanuts, Tree nuts, Milk, Egg, Sesame seeds, Fish, Shellfish, Soy, Lupin, Wheat
Cake decorations and serving the cake
Cakes will have wooden/plastic dowel sticks or tooth picks or any object to hold the cake structure or to hold the cake decorations inside the cake and on the cake. Please remove those items and serve the cake.
We do not recommend to serve or eat cake decorations. It is your responsibility as a customer to remove the cake decorations and serve the cake.
Cake Smash
Food voyageur will not take any responsibility for any cake smash injuries.
Cake Design
I don’t copy the same exact cake designs from the internet as the pictures you show are another cake baker’s work. I will take your pictures as an inspiration and design a cake accordingly.
Usually how it works with me is I will design and sketch the cake after payment confirmation is received. But you can have a look at my work from by going into the Gallery section
How much Notice should I give
We request Minimum of 2 weeks of notice for a Birthday cakes and wedding cakes, (this may can change)
Shipping & Returns
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally,
we can only ship Christmas cake and Sri Lankan Wedding cake pieces interstate only with in Australia
Delivery and shipping
Delivery times
Food Voyageur offers free delivery between 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at weekends only. We do not offer a specific time delivery for free.
If you need your order to come at a specific time then you will need to pay for a delivery-free starting price of $50.
Delivering to Venues
When Food Voyageur is delivering the cake to your nominated venue, it is your responsibility to talk to the venue and inform the delivery times, and fridge space/ cool room space for the cake, Once we deliver the cake to the venue it is the venue’s responsibility to keep the cake inside the fridge/ cool room.
Food Voyageur will not take any responsibility when the venue does not have fridge space/cool room space for the cake and the damages that happen to the cake once it is handed to the venue.
If your venue is not open during the Food Voyageur’s free delivery time frame, it is your responsibility to organize an alternative delivery place. You need to inform the Food Voyageur team 3 days prior to the delivery date, if there is no one in the venue to pick up the cake we will take the cake back to our home base shop you will need to come and pick it up from the home base shop located in officer vic 3809.
Interstate deliveries
(outside Melbourn) will be done through a third party courier company, delivery dates may vary, please make the bookings and orders in advance to avoid delays. Food Voyageur will not take any responsibility for the 3rd party delivery issues and damages.
What is your return policy?
You must inform us at least 10 days prior to the delivery date or pick up date.
If the decoration items were ordered for the cake, We will not refund the decoration items cost.
There will be a 50$ admin fee at any given time when processing a refund. Refund will take 2-4 weeks.
How long will it take until I receive my order?
