Online Orders will get an email notification, if you receive an invoice please make the 50% deposit to confirm the order

Yes you can, You may need to call us and inform. Until we confrim from our side the change is not confirmed

Although certain allergens are not present in food it may contain the the work space therefore I cannot guarantee allergen free food products. May contain Peanuts, Tree nuts, Milk, Egg, Sesame seeds, Fish, Shellfish, Soy, Lupin, Wheat

Cakes will have wooden/plastic dowel sticks or tooth picks or any object to hold the cake structure or to hold the cake decorations inside the cake and on the cake. Please remove those items and serve the cake.

We do not recommend to serve or eat cake decorations. It is your responsibility as a customer to remove the cake decorations and serve the cake.

Food voyageur will not take any responsibility for any cake smash injuries. 

I don’t copy the same exact cake designs from the internet as the pictures you show are another cake baker’s work. I will take your pictures as an inspiration and design a cake accordingly. 

Usually how it works with me is I will design and sketch the cake after payment confirmation is received. But you can have a look at my work from by going into the Gallery section

  • Next-day pickup & delivery : We offer next-day turnaround for simpler cakes such as vintage cakes, number cakes, and cupcakes, subject to capacity.

  • Complex custom cakes: Please allow at least 1 week’s notice for detailed designs (e.g. multi-tier, carved/3D shapes, hand-modelled characters, intricate piping or florals).

  • Need it sooner? If your date is under 1 week away, call us — we’ll do our best to make it happen. We have an amazing team that can turn cakes around fast when we have capacity.

  • Capacity & bookings: When we’re fully booked, we pause/disable online ordering (the website checkout will be blocked). To secure your cake and delivery slot, book as early as possible.

Shipping & Returns

Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges

We do not ship internationally,

we can only ship Christmas cake and Sri Lankan Wedding cake pieces interstate only with in Australia

  • Delivery days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

  • Standard  delivery windows:

  • Wednesday: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
  • Friday: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
  • Thursday: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
    Delivery occurs within these windows; we don’t deliver at exact times

Saturday window: The delivery window is 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. If this time frame doesn’t work for you, the next best option is Friday delivery between 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Please keep the cake refrigerated until the event.

Exact-time delivery (optional): If you need a specific delivery time, a paid delivery upgrade applies, from $50 (subject to location and availability).

Please note

  • We do not deliver at specific times within the delivery windows.

  • Our store is closed on Sundays. No pick-up or delivery on Sundays, except for wedding cakes.

  • If neither delivery option is suitable, you’re welcome to pick up your order from our Balaclava store: 215 Carlisle St, Balaclava VIC 3183.

Delivering to Houses or Venues

  • House or Venue: If delivering to a venue, please inform them of our delivery windows and ensure enough fridge/cool-room space is available.

  • Handover & storage: Once delivered and received at your venue, storage and care are the venue’s responsibility. Food Voyageur is not liable for any damage after handover, including issues from insufficient fridge/cool-room space or improper handling.

If your venue will be closed or unattended, please provide an alternative delivery address and notify us at least 3 days before delivery.


If no one is available to hand over the cake on arrival, the cake will be left at the doorsteps

Once left, Food Voyageur will not be responsible for:

Damage from rain, heat, or direct sunlight

Theft or loss

Mishandling by others after delivery


No Sunday deliveries – Food Voyageur is closed on Sundays.

Interstate deliveries

(outside Melbourn) will be done through a third party courier company, delivery dates may vary, please make the bookings and orders in advance to avoid delays. Food Voyageur will not take any responsibility for the 3rd party delivery issues and damages. 

You must inform us at least 10 days prior to the delivery date or pick up date. 

If the decoration items were ordered for the cake, We will not refund the decoration items cost. 

There will be a 50$ admin fee at any given time when processing a refund. Refund will take 2-4 weeks.
